Custom cartoon drawings make great gifts for a variety of occasions such as weddings, graduations, goodbyes…and even saying thank you to a special teacher! That’s the story behind this drawing done for April M. in Escondido, CA. Here is what she asked for: 

I would like a drawing with three parts to it. I am envisioning these to be a bit silly and in color.

1. A drawing of Mrs. G., a third grade teacher.
2. A drawing of a classroom with rows of chairs and desks and in those chairs are monkeys (which is what she calls her third graders).
3. A drawing of a few hunky firemen and labeled “Hubba Hubba Ding Ding” (she calls them this nickname)

I had to laugh at the firemen part! I had an idea about how to work all three scenes into one drawing and got to work on it for April.
