Lady luck has never been a friend of Robin’s, hence his pessimistic nature. He never learned to fly, so therefore must live in a nest four feet off the ground and is the target of most of Simon’s jokes. He is a single parent (see Oswald), and his time is spent trying to find a nice lady bird to settle down with.
